Therapy is your time. I believe in working collaboratively with you to address the goals that you want to achieve and are important to you.
As a registered counselling psychologist, I offer evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioural therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy, and acceptance & commitment therapy. I also employ creative modalities like art and play, to suit your needs and preferences.
I specialise in providing neurodevelopmental assessments for ADHD and Autism. I led the ASD pathway in my previous role at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Te Whatu Ora on the North Shore, and provide clinical supervision and training for other clinicians working in this area.
Other areas of special interest are trauma (e.g. PTSD, recovering from a previous abusive relationship), attachment issues (e.g. anxious attachment style) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
I have close to ten years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families from various cultures with a range of difficulties including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Trauma
- Attachment Issues
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Self-Esteem
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Grief & Traumatic Grief
- Intimate Partner Violence
- Stress
- Mental Health Checks
I run seminars, workshops and groups for both therapists and the general public. I also provide clinical supervision for therapists.

Whether you’re facing a difficult season, feeling stuck, or looking to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can help you gain greater self-awareness, improve emotional wellbeing, and create meaningful change in how you relate to yourself and the world around you.
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective therapy. Meaningful change is more likely when you feel safe, supported, understood, and actively involved in our sessions.
My approach is integrative and evidence-based, primarily drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while incorporating DBT-informed skills and trauma-informed principles. Our work together will be tailored to your unique needs, strengths, and goals.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultures, including individuals from refugee backgrounds. I support clients experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including:
- Anxiety & Panic attacks
- Depression & Low mood
- Trauma
- Grief & Loss
- Stress
- Emotional regulation difficulties
- life transitions and adjustment challenges
- relationship difficulties
If you feel we might be a good fit, please feel free to reach out to discuss how we can work together.
