As a registered counselling psychologist, I offer evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioural therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy, and acceptance & commitment therapy. I also employ creative modalities like art and play, to suit your needs and preferences.
I specialise in providing neurodevelopmental assessments for ADHD and Autism. I led the ASD pathway in my previous role at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Te Whatu Ora on the North Shore, and provide clinical supervision and training for other clinicians working in this area.
Other areas of special interest are trauma (e.g. PTSD, recovering from a previous abusive relationship), attachment issues (e.g. anxious attachment style) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
